I began counseling couples and individuals at Family Counseling Associates in 2003. When I am not counseling, I work part-time for Love In the Name of Christ of Boone County as the Transformational Ministry Coordinator. My graduate education includes programs completed at Indiana University and Indiana Wesleyan University, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. My specialties include working with pre-marital couples to help them navigate the challenges of starting a life together, as well as helping married couples learn to live in harmony. As a Postpartum Depression Specialist, I provide therapy for women dealing with PPD and I speak to groups regarding PPD awareness and treatment. I am a Seminar Director for Life Innovations – I train clergy and counselors to use the Prepare-Enrich assessment instrument to help bring clarity to the issues involved in their work with pre-marital and marital couples. I’m a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and have been listed on referral networks for both New Life Ministries and Focus on the Family. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 24 years and our exceptional young adult children, ages 17 and 20. I enjoy decorating, reading, power tools, fantasy football and traveling, as well as staying involved in our church, Lebanon Christian Church. I am currently available to meet with clients at the Castleton office location on Tuesday afternoons and evenings.
