My name is Caitlin Ruhl, and I would love the opportunity to work with you. I am a graduate-level Licensed Clinical Mental Health (LCMH) Counseling Intern. I deeply value creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where my clients can feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe healing happens in the context of authentic connection, and I strive to meet each person with empathy, curiosity, and respect for their unique story.
I’m especially drawn to working with women, children, couples, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, attachment concerns, trauma, relationship challenges, OCD, and postpartum experiences. I enjoy exploring how past experiences and relationships shape the present, and I aim to support clients in building self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Taylor University. Before entering grad school, I was an elementary teacher for six years and a full-time homemaker for five years.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking deeper understanding, my hope is to provide a supportive and gentle space, along with evidence-based counseling practices, for you to heal and grow. I also welcome incorporating faith or spirituality as part of the healing process.
